Responsibility
In creating Soleiluna it was of utmost importance to work towards building a responsible and fair brand upon a platform which can be expanded and broaden as the brand grows.
Considered Materials
Fabrications are carefully selected for Soleiluna. We use dying and printing houses that meet the latest international standards. This ensures our cloth is free from harmful substances and is manufactured using sustainable processes under socially responsible working conditions.
Our cottons carry the globally recognised certification, which ensures the authenticity of the fabric’s origins from yarn to cloth.
Additionally, some of our partners also carry the BLUESIGN standard, a system that provides safer and more sustainable environments for people to work in and everyone to live in. Powered by a holistic approach, BLUESIGN traces each textile’s path along the manufacturing process, making improvements at every stage from factory floor to finished product.
Fair Trade
Designed in Australia and made in China, the team has partnered with workshops that are Amfori BSCI participants to ensure our skilfully crafted garments are created in fair trade workplaces that operate on ethical and socially responsible platforms. Our partners carry the following Business and Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) ISO certifications: ISO9001 ISO14000 ISO14001
Biodegradable packaging
We avoid plastics in our product where possible. Where we are required to use plastic we choose to use TDPA which is a biodegradable and recyclable plastic. “TDPA™ brand and EPI’s daisy logo enjoy global recognition as the gold-standard in oxo-biodegradable industry and are used by some of the best-known end-users in the world.”
